About Me
I'm an AI engineer and independent researcher based in Stuttgart, Germany. I hold an M.Sc. in Information Technology from the Universität Stuttgart and a B.Eng. in Communication Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). My research interests are explainable and human-centered AI: multimodal learning and Vision-Language Models, model interpretability, and human-AI interaction. My master's thesis looked at how well machine attention in Visual Question Answering matches human gaze, and I'm still chasing that question in GazeEval-VLM, a gaze-guided evaluation framework I'm building for multimodal models. Alongside that, I work as an AI engineer at Sanhua Automotive Europe GmbH, where I build and deploy enterprise LLM applications and workflow integrations.
I'm currently looking for what comes next: a Ph.D. in AI applications or AI-related interdisciplinary research, or an industry role like AI Engineer or AI Forward Deployment Engineer.
